Privacy Policy
Short version: We make sure that your data is handled in a way which complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 1998, and any other relevant legislation.
Long Version: In this document, ‘we’ refers to Just4Fun.ie and its representatives. ‘You’ refers to visitors to our website and our customers.
Who is responsible for your data?
Our data protection officer and company owner is Robert G. The data protection officer is responsible for making sure that your data is stored and processed safely. You can contact them on0852222000
Why do we process and store your data?
We need to store and process your data if you make an enquiry or place an order with us, to allow us to provide our services as a [Business Category]. This includes your name, contact details, and IP address. We also need to store your details for tax and insurance reasons.
We only store or process data which you have given directly to us and which we need to run our business.
How long will we keep your data?
We may need to keep your personal details until up to 6 years after you were a customer of ours, for tax and insurance purposes. After this date your data will be anonymised, unless you have ‘opted in’ to receive ongoing communications from us.
Who has access to your data?
Our data protection officer is responsible for managing access to the personal data we store. Generally speaking, only the data protection officer and authorised members of staff will access your data.
Some of the services we use will also store a copy of your data. For example, our website provider Booking Online Ltd, our email provider Fastmail, and any providers they use to provide their services. If you send your details over a social media platform, that platform may keep a copy of your messages.
We do not sell or give your data to any third parties for their marketing purposes.
Who else might your data be shared with?
We reserve the right to share your personal data with other third parties if required for legal reasons. For example, in the case of an insurance claim, a tax audit, or to prevent fraud.
How can you see what data we store about you?
You have the right to request details on any data we store about you. We can send a copy of your data to the email address you entered when using our services.
Your right to deletion
If you were previously a customer of ours, we might need to hold onto some of your data for tax or insurance reasons. Otherwise we will happily comply with your request as best we can.
How can you opt in or out of our marketing messages?
You can manage your marketing preferences at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the emails we send, or by getting in touch with us through any other means.
How does our website use cookies?
Our website stores cookies on your browser to allow you to place an order with us. Our website’s cookies are temporary and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.
Third parties might also set cookies on your browser. We use Google Analytics to monitor the performance of our website, for example. Third parties have their own cookie policies.
How do you make a complaint about our use of your data?
DataProetctionIreland.ie is the authority for data protection in Ireland . If you have an unresolvable problem with us and our use of your data, they are who you should contact.

Booking Deposits
We require a minimum €30 booking deposit to secure and confirm your booking. Payment can be made online, via PayPal (you do not need an account) or via Debit Card/Credit Card or bank transfer and must be received within 24 hours to secure your booking date. Once your deposit is paid that amount will be deducted from your final payment. (When paying your deposit via PayPal please ensure you give as much detail as possible and the 'subject' is your name, hire date and booking ID otherwise I won't know who it is from, and confirm this with us on 0852222000 via phone/text.
Please note: The deposit amount is per booking and not for each inflatable/equipment you book.Your deposit is non-refundable however can be transferred if you wish to change your hire date or equipment up to 12 months of receipt of payment
Once we have received your inquiry to book and your deposit has been received your booking deposit will be confirmed by another automated email. This is Receipt of payment ONLY , If we DO NOT receive your deposit within 24 hours the equipment you wanted to book will become available for others to book.
Confirmation of booking will be confirmed via member of staff who will look to contact you ASAP or within 24-48 hours, if for any reason you do not hear from a member of staff please contact us directly on 0852222000
NOTE
No bookings is confirmed nor secure unless booking deposit is paid and confirmation of this has been sent/confirmed to/by one of our members of staff.
Website availability may not have been updated with bookings via Phone/Facebook/Instagram/Emails etc
Payment Terms:
The remaining balance is to be paid on the day upon delivery and must be made to the driver on delivery of the equipment in cash. We do not accept cheques or cards on the day of the hire.
If you wish to pay the remaining balance before your hire date this can be paid via online and must be paid 1 day prior to the booking date. Please call us on 0852222000 to arrange this.
Payment for wedding hire must be received at least 14 days before your hire date. We will also post a disclaimer form to you before the day which must be read, signed and returned to us which we must receive before your hire date. This is to make it easier for both parties and to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.
Delivery
The company can give no guarantee to attend the venue address at the time stated in the Booking Agreement due to any circumstances that are out of the company's control, e.g. adverse weather conditions, heavy traffic, road closure etc. Best attempts will always be made by the company to deliver the services at the preferred time stated.
All equipment hired will be suitably and safely installed by a member of competent staff. The company reserves the right to withdraw the use of certain equipment if at the time, it is deemed unsafe to use such equipment.
The Hirer must Ensure that there is efficient space for us to park and access the location and that an area of 4 feet (1.2 meters) around the unit is completely clear of anything that may cause damage or injury to any persons or the inflatable.
Please ensure that there is adequate space for our products, that the location our products will be sited is accessible, and that you have cleared the area of mess and debris and most importantly Animal Waste.
After assessing your site a security deposit of €50 may be asked to be paid if there is a potential risk of damage to any of our units, this may include sharp edge shed/wall, garden sleepers or any other potential sharp object that could be harmful.If decided to be left and kept a close eye on by the customer after paying this deposit the responsibility is on the hirer to ensure no damage is caused and if so the security deposit will not be returned. Upon collection of unit in same condition this security deposit will be returned in full.
Any damage or loss to the inflatables will result in the hirer being charged for the repair/ replacement in full and any associated costs including loss of hire etc.
Please note: It is the hirers responsibility to check the space required for their chosen inflatable and ensure there is enough space provided, this includes the ceiling height to the lowest part in indoor venues. All sizes are written on each inflatable description. On delivery, if the inflatable will not fit in the space provided the hirer will still be charged the total outstanding amount of the hire. We cannot be held responsible if the inflatable does not fit, All required size are clearly shown on each description.
We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.
Space and Electrical Supply
A flat, clear and safe surface must be provided by the hirer and/or the Venue. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient space and safe power available at the Event Location.Just4Fun will not be liable for any booking that cannot be performed due been unable to access or erect any of our products and customer deposit will be offset any charges that may apply for our time
We will arrive with our own extension lead and 2 x 13A sockets are required as a minimum electrical supply,and any cable run over 15 meters the hirer will have to provide an additional extension lead to facilitate this.
Cancellations:
Cancellations within 7 days of the hire date are subject to a 25% charge of the total hire charge.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the hire date are subject to a 50% charge of the total hire charge.
Cancellations within 4 hours of the delivery time or upon delivery will be subject to 100% charge of the total hire charge.
Cancellations can be made on the day of hire if wet weather occurs (subject to our discretion) as long as early morning notice is given by calling or texting us on 0852222000 by 8am
If you cancel within the time scales above then your cancellation amount will include deposit amount paid.
E.g. If you hire an inflatable for €100 and pay €15 deposit (leaving €85 to pay on the day) then you cancel within 24 hours of the hire date you will incur a 50% charge of the total hire charge, which will mean there is €35 to pay for the cancellation as you already paid €15 deposit.
If your booking is due to be outdoors and bad weather conditions occur on your hire day (heavy rain/high winds etc) you can cancel the order with 12 hours notice or if we may need to cancel your booking due to health and safety risks, if this occurs then your deposit can be transferred to another date within 12 months of your hire date.

All sizes are written on each inflatable description. On delivery, if the inflatable will not fit in the space provided the hirer will still be charged the total outstanding amount of the hire. We cannot be held responsible if the inflatable does not fit. All required sizes are clearly shown on each description.
SAFETY
Please note: Safety is our number 1 priority at all times. We reserve the right to refuse a hire for any reason if we feel health and safety law will be breached in any way. Our staff are fully trained in the safe use of inflatables and their say is final.
The weather plays a large factor in outdoor hires, in certain circumstances we may need to cancel a hire on the day due to bad weather ie. extreme rain or wind. Please see the next section for an explanation on anchorage and wind speeds:
The European standard 4.2.1 Anchorage
The inflatable shall be provided with an anchorage and/or ballast system and any necessary accessories enabling the inflatable to be securely fixed to the ground. Each inflatable shall have at least six anchorage
points.
The number of anchorage points shall be calculated in accordance with Annex A. They shall be distributed
around the perimeter of the inflatable (see also 4.2.3) and shall be fitted with metal ends. The maximum wind-
speed in which inflatables shall be used outdoors is 38 km/h (Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale); see Annex B.
When used outdoors, the inflatable shall be secured to the ground, preferably with ground stakes where the
ground is suitable. Each anchorage point on the inflatable and all of the components of the anchorage and/or
ballast system, e.g. ropes, webbings, metal attachments, stakes, weights, shall withstand a force of 1 600 N.
The direction of the exerted force shall be at an angle to the ground of 30° to 45°. Ground stakes shall incline+away from the direction of the exerted force. Ground stakes shall be a minimum of 380 mm in length and a
minimum of 16 mm in diameter and their tops shall be rounded. The system shall expose no more than
25 mm of the stake above ground level (see Figure 3).
When the inflatable is used indoors, the anchorage and/or ballast system should be used, when necessary, to
maintain stability.
Bouncy Castle Hire
Terms and Conditions of Hire
At Just4Fun.ie we would like to re-assure you that all our units are manufactured and fully comply with EU standard EN14960. We are insured and we hold a valid safety certificate for all our units.
It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncing Castle to ensure
that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the Inflatable.
Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:
Each unit has an age limit. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment.
Please ensure No Shoes/heels or any footware are to be worn on any inflatable , but NOTE: SOCKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES
No adults are to use this Bouncy Castle.(Childrens castles are usually 12 years, Adult castles are 70 years)
No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle which will avoid choking and mess(Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge)
All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges and other sharp objects MUST be removed before using the Bouncy Castle.
No party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the Bouncy Castle. Only Snazaroo facepaints can be used on any of our inflatables.
No smoking, barbeques or fires within 20 metres of the Bouncy Castle.
Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed at any time. It may also cause damage to the inflatable.
Users must remove their shoes before using the inflatables and put them back on when getting off the inflatable if they wish to use the inflatable again.
A responsible Adult over 18 years of age must supervise the Bouncy Castle at all times.
Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of children using it. Each inflatable has the amount of uses printed onto it on the safety tag.
Try to avoid large and small Children from using it at the same time. Avoid more boisterous children using the inflatables at the same time as younger children.
Adults and children must not use any inflatable at the same time.
Please ensure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause harm to other children.
Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step under any circumstances as a Child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to aid users in getting on or off the inflatable!
Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle at any time as indeed any Child who is feeling unwell or ill.
Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation as this is highly DANGEROUS and could result in serious injury.
No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle at any time.
Please ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults or back flips and are clothed appropriately. (We recommend sock are used, But no shoes to be worn on the inflatable)
Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear of anything that may cause damage or injury to any persons or the inflatable.
The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area.
In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel once the rain has stopped.
In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.
Any damage or loss to the inflatables will result in the hirer being charged for the repair/ replacement in full and any associated costs including loss of hire etc.
INSURANCE:
Public liability insurance cover is in place should Just4Fun.ie in any way be negligent in the set up of units or should any equipment be in any way responsible for any injuries due to faults in the equipment or during the set up process. Just4Fun.ie is NOT responsible in any way for accidents resulting from use of the unit. It is the hired's responsibility to ensure that their own independent public liability insurance cover is in place for persons while using the unit.
On booking our equipment you are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions above, you will also be required to sign a paper copy on the day on delivery of the equipment.

Please note that all food items we supply, we have taken extra thought into choosing these to best suit a wide range of peoples specific needs although we cannot guarantee that they do not contain or have not been prepared around ingredients to which some people may have allergies to.
MascotHire
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We guarantee all costumes look exactly as portrayed in the pictures. Our costumes are high quality lookalike mascot characters.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
GENERAL
- You are entering into a hire agreement. If you don’t understand anything in the agreement, PLEASE CONTACT US.
- I undertake that the costume is to be hired for the agreed time.
- I accept that the costume is hired in good condition with any faults recorded and notified immediately (within 2 hours when received).
- I undertake to return the costume in a good condition suitable for re-hire.
- I understand the mascot must be accompanied by a chaperone at all times when being operated.
- I accept that the damage deposit is to be refunded on return of the complete outfit in good condition. If the outfit is damaged or items are lost, then part of all of my deposit will be forfeited.
- If I fail to make the costume available for collection on the agreed date, I am liable to additional costs.
- I understand that should any part of the outfit need to be dry cleaned, I am liable to lose a total of 20euros off my deposit.
- I understand that the costume is not to be worn outside in wet conditions.
- I understand that MascotHire are not responsible for any injuries caused to any persons whilst wearing the costume on hire.
- I understand that if the costume is beyond repair and deemed to be a total loss then the full amount to recover the costume is set at 250euros and is payable by me.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all monies due in relation to deposits & hire fees are paid in full no later than 2 days before the date of hire.
- For hire bookings that fall within the 2 day period full payment must be made at time of order.
- Changes to your order after checkout will result in an additional 20euros administration fee. This will include any variation to the order and includes but not exclusive to change of costume, delivery date, hire date and address etc.
- If you cancel your order you will lose your deposit fee.
- Goods will not be dispatched unless deposit and delivery has been paid and no refund will be given for hire fees of costumes not dispatched due to this.
- Costumes are for hire only and must be returned on agreed times. The property of the goods shall in no circumstances pass to the hirer.
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
- Local deliveries will be undertaken by MascotHire unless otherwise stated. Costumes will not be left unless signed for by a person at the delivery address. Should no-one be available to receive delivery then the hire fee will be lost. For local deliveries we may make a second delivery attempt where practical however this will incur an additional fee of???(Contact Us).
- Non Local Delivery & collection of singular or multiple mascot deliveries applie.. Delivery shall be deemed to occur by MascotHire when the goods are delivered to the hirer at the location agreed on the day PRIOR to the agreed hire date. Collection shall be deemed to occur from the client,when the goods are collected from the hirer at the agreed location on the day after the hire date (unless otherwise advised or due to holiday). If the hirer is unable to accept delivery or collection at the agreed times, and if this results in a delay in collection Mascots will add a 15euros fee for every day the goods are un-returned. If the hirer fails to respond to contact from MascotHire regarding damage to a returned costume, MascotHire shall after 48 hrs deduct the deposit and refund the excess (if any remains). Delivery and Collection dates are fixed and can only be changed by the hirer with consent from MascotHire. Under no circumstances will it be permitted to have items un-returned for a period of 3 days past the agreed dates unless expressly permitted.
- In the event of delayed collection whether it is the cause of the hirer or not, the hirer must assist MascotHire to return the mascot via the designated courier. This includes but is not limited to ensuring the hirer is available to sign for the courier on days other than agreed in this contract.
- The Hirer shall carefully examine the goods on receipt and shall immediately notify MascotHire of any defect within 4 hrs. In the absence of any such notification MascotHire reserves the right to reject any claims arising out of the defect which may affect the hirer’s deposit.
- The hirer is solely responsible for ensuring the return mascot box is secured and addressed correctly with the means supplied and instructed eg: cable ties. Failure to do this may result in damage of the packaging and mascot on the return courier service. If this is deemed to occur the responsibility falls to the hirer to pay for reparation of damage and the deposit may be deducted accordingly in such a case.
PERFORMANCE
- MascotHire will use its reasonable commercial endeavors to ensure that goods ordered are available for delivery on the date specified in any quotation or acknowledgement of receipt of order. However it will not be liable for any loss suffered by the Hirer as a result of default in delivery by the courier or items provided due to circumstances outside MascotHire reasonable control.
